PST Art | Embodied Pacific: Ocean Unseen
This fall, UC San Diego will unveil Embodied Pacific, a multi-sited exhibition in partnership with the Getty initiative PST ART: Art & Science Collide. Embodied Pacific, a collaboration between UC San Diego’s Department of Visual Arts and Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, features artworks created by artists in partnership with scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and laboratories across UC San Diego, as well as with Indigenous community leaders in environmental and ocean science, engineering and design.

PST Art | USAL x Oriana Poindexter Seaweed Cyanotype Workshop
This event is presented by USAL Project and Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide as part of the San Diego & La Jolla PST ART Weekend. USAL Project is a community providing experiences & goods for the modern outdoor enthusiast. With a team of hand selected guides, USAL and PST ART are collaborating to offer a series of free local workshops and retreats across all things outdoors, sustainably, and wellness.
These activities are meant to function as connective tissue throughout the PST ART weekends, offering outdoor and nature forward experiences to accompany and highlight PST partner programs.
